Energy

·       Develop reliable supply and even prices with latest green technology.

·       Build an oil refinery in North Dakota-stop selling at wholesale and buying

     back at retail.

·       Build wealth for North Dakotans.

·       Assure majority local ownership of wind electrical generation.

 

North Dakota’s Correction system

·       No need for new or remodeled state prison (present prison meets 61 of 61

     mandatory standards and 438 of 443 non-mandatory standards, see audit report)

·       Use statewide system of regional jails, along with Bismarck, New England

     and Jamestown.

·       Focus on preventing criminal behavior and eliminating repeat offenses.

Property tax reform-education

·       Expand homestead tax credit.

·       Fund education from the state to reduce pressure on local property tax needs.

·       Make solutions permanent.

 

Investing in ND businesses, farms and individuals

·       Credits and loan forgiveness to students that stay in North Dakota.

·       Provide investment and training to North Dakota businesses that wish to expand.
